Blanket recipients
Although originally focused on cancer patients, Project Linus has expanded its focus to include any seriously ill or traumatised child, from children waiting for organ transplants, facing heart surgery, children with AIDS, or suffering from burns, child-abuse and other life-threatening conditions.
Project Linus, Canberra Chapter, hopes to be able to deliver blankets to children in hospitals and shelters right across the A.C.T, Queanbeyan and immediately surrounding areas.
Blankets from Project Linus (Canberra Chapter) have been delivered to children at:
The Canberra Hospital
Calvary Public and Private Hospitals
The Cancer Council
The Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group

Project Linus welcomes expressions of interest from any facility or organisation that would like to be a recipient of Project Linus blankets. Individual children who are seriously ill, traumatised or otherwise in need, and are not connected to a current recipient facility may be nominated to receive a Project Linus blanket.
